Broad Programme Goal

Target & Methodology

This foundation and its projects aim at harnessing strong political and international support from the donor community, philanthropists, politicians, civil society, NGOs, and the international community in supporting the health, education, and employment sectors. This is achieved through the provision of FREE and affordable healthcare for our people especially the most vulnerable ones, and non-formal education through capacity building and economic empowerment. It will also require strong communication and information media involvement in order to disseminate social inclusion values to all sectors.

Aim & Objectives

  • To provide, knowledge and skills-based capacity building for employment and entrepreneurship through large-scale, effective non-formal education programs and vocational training that include community-based learning.
  • To educate on the dangers of negative vices such as sexual abuse, substance abuse, etc while also providing rehabilitation programs to victims.
  • To support innovative projects and methods with a view to increasing access to healthcare services through health awareness and partnership for quality health provision.
  • To monitor projects in communities, and support related programs or projects leading to a state literacy and non-formal education program that supports better livelihood and self-sufficiency for all of our people.

Activities

  • Provide technical support in designing and implementing time-bound special programs for out-of-school girls and illiterate women, and likewise for adolescent and adult males, bearing in mind the needs of ex-combatants.
  • Special attention will be accorded to involving local and national women’s organizations. Work with existing local structures to provide affordable and free healthcare in remote and unreached communities through frequent medical outreaches.
  • Provide technical support for strengthening capacity-building for the training of all types of skills, including strengthening the capacities for face-to-face business negotiation skills, utilization of social media for business, and bookkeeping essentials.
  • Provide technical support for the development of non-formal education regarding education for health, drug and alcohol awareness, conflict resolution, peace-building, human rights, and citizenship.

Beneficiaries

  • Local people, drop-outs, students, vulnerable women, and girls.
  • Basic education planners, administrators, project managers, practitioners, trainers, and facilitators at all levels.
  • Key policy decision-makers, trainers, leaders of NGOs, and village elders and /or tribal leaders who are involved in designing and implementing, monitoring, and evaluating literacy and NFE programs
  • Rural and urban poor and vulnerable, especially adolescent girls and women, and marginalized or ex-combatant adolescent boys and men. Everyone is in need of hope.
